Rayscraft Auto Development's ADS Bypass System allows you to install reliable traditional front struts and rear shocks into your 2007-2013 Acura MDX or 2010-2013 Acura ZDX (USDM model) without causing any warning lights or messages.
Version 2 of our ADS Bypass System improves on our already successful initial offering in several ways: a stronger, 1-piece carbon fiber-reinforced outer shell makes the Bypass more rigid and robust, and provides additional support for the connector; the solid design allows us to have near-perfect consistency from part to part; and finally, less components for assembly allows us to shorten production lead times, which means a consistently higher inventory level. The same principles that made our first version so successful remain: simple plug and play installation, cost-effectiveness and the same fundamental operation as before.
PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING: Please note that in the event the ADS Bypass System is out of stock, a standard 1-3 week lead time will apply to allow us time to replenish inventory. Also note that this system is designed only to correct ADS error messages relating to the removal of ADS shocks and struts - they will not correct other error codes for other failures in the ADS system.

Acura's first-generation Active Damper System (ADS) has been plagued with issues since day one - leaking and clunking dampers, rough ride and error messages, among others. In addition, the changes between comfort and sport mode are hardly noticeable, and the supposed benefits of the system are hardly worth the hassle. Prices have steadily increased on replacement shocks and struts (upwards of 4000$ CAD for a full set), and supply chain issues mean they are essentially impossible to get your hands on.
Our ADS Bypass system allows you to run the full front strut assemblies (a complete unit with spring and mounts must be used) and rear shock assemblies from the non-ADS models. These traditional dampers are much more reliable, they cost a small fraction of the price of their ADS counterparts and they are readily available from dealerships and aftermarket suppliers.
Unlike other offerings for this application, our kit is extremely easy to install, eliminates loose wires in the wheel wells, is completely weather sealed and uses OEM connectors for perfect fitment every time. Simply unplug and remove the existing ADS wire subharness, plug in our bypass units and you are good to go!
Available as a Front Set (includes 2 Bypasses for replacing both front struts) and a Rear Set (includes 2 Bypasses for replacing both rear shocks/dampers).
